 Purina Pro Plan kitten & Purina Healthy Kitten dry foods are left out all the time for our kitties at Just PURRfect Ragdolls. We use many different wet foods- some of our favorites are: Purina Pro Plan Kitten, Nulo FreeStyle Cat & Kitten Pate Canned, Nulo FreeStyle Cat & Kitten Wet Food Pouches, Tiki Cat Aloha Friends Pouches, Tiki Cat Luau Velvet Mousse, Fancy Feast. At the time kitty comes home with you they are eating a serving of wet food once daily. For treats: Temptations Kitten, Stella & Chewy Freeze Dried Raw Dinner Morsels, Greenies Feline Smart Bites & Nulo FreeStyle PURRfect Purées Lickable Treats. We use pet water fountains. We use multivitamins, lysine & probiotics on food daily.

Kittens are trained in a regular open litter box with Dr. Elsey’s Kitten Attract . Kittens then have access to a covered litter box, Litter Robot Litter Box & the regular open litter box. Dr. Elsey’s Ultra is used in all litter boxes.  

 I usually only bathe the kittens when they get messy- one I use is TropiClean deep cleansing shampoo for cats & kittens & I also use TropiClean waterless shampoo & wipes for spot cleaning.

I use a metal comb for weekly brushing & Zen clipper (size x-small or small) for nails.

 We use sisal scratching posts (corrugated can be very messy) Show kitty scratching toy & rub their paws on it. It might help to rub cat nip on it. When kitty starts scratching on something, pick them up & move them to scratching post/toy.

Kittens love playtime with you a couple times a day for 15 minutes. Try not to use your hands or feet to play with kitty. They may learn biting or scratching you is a game. Throwing toys for them or using a wand toy is fun & helps with their hunting instincts!
